The 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship is set to feature a unique and captivating design for its medals, my aim was to capture the spirit and intensity of women’s ice hockey.
The gold, silver, and bronze medals will reflect the vibrant energy of the tournament, incorporating elements that symbolize strength, unity, and female empowerment in sports. Utilizing materials that not only have aesthetic appeal but also convey significance, each medal will serve as a memorable symbol of achievement for the athletes competing at the highest level.
In addition to traditional motifs associated with ice hockey, the designs may include intricate patterns or engravings that pay homage to the culture and heritage of the host nation and the remarkable history of women in hockey. This thoughtful approach not only enhances the visual impact of the medals but also reinforces the narrative of growth and recognition in women's sports.
As the tournament unfolds, these medals will not just represent victory but also inspire the next generation of female athletes, showcasing the importance of women's representation in competitive sports and celebrating their contributions on and off the ice.

Inspired by the transience of time and what persists beyond the material world. It poses the question: How do we capture the ephemeral or, conversely, the eternal? video credits: NMDS

A masterpiece that combines exclusivity, fashion, and the beauty of natural landscapes. THE NEW LIGHTING FOR BOMMA.
“The Flare luminaire is inspired by the phenomenon of light itself, craft and traditional glassmaking techniques, as well as the need to create a luminaire that offers a wide variety of compositions and space solutions. It is based on the form and character of the flare, creating lines of light and glimpses in space.”

Inspired by the graceful movement of the wind, our design captures the essence of the gentle breeze carrying leaves of the Manzanita tree, infusing the hotels lobby with life and motion. Produced by Kolektiv Ateliers.

Our master glassmakers pull the piece into a desired length, stretching the fragments across the interior of the glass rod. This creates a magical texture inside the rod, seemingly its own Universe, flaring every time a switch is flipped.

In The Little Prince, Exupéry talks about his beloved rose through the mouth of his hero. About the rose that teaches him love. About a rose that both reciprocates and abuses the prince's affection. About the rose that he carefully cares for, that makes him ask questions, that he remembers and that becomes a symbol of love for him. The story of the little prince is an immortal allegory about the fact that to desire often means to suffer a little at the same time.

For the special occasion of Designblok Prague I prepared the new limited collection of vases named LUDVIKA .
Inspired by the personality, life and work of one of my heroines - Ludvika Smrčková, the first Czech female designer in the Czechoslovak glassmaking industry. She devoted her whole life to education, travel and mainly to GLASS. She endeavored to bring designs used in hand production, such as engraving, sandblasting and coloring, into serial production. Rückl was the only glassworks between WWI and WWII able to execute Ludvika avantgarde designs. The cut pattern on the LUDVIKA vase from the HERO.INE limited collection was inspired by typical elements this designer used, such as wide facets, alternating surfaces, generosity and elegance of shape and daring rawness. The rounded fluting covering the entire length of the vase are rhythmically interrupted by sharp cuts disrupting the perfect geometry of the design, creating sophisticated dynamics and tension in the shape. Each cut on this vase from the limited edition of six pieces is personally drawn by me, making each a distinct original piece.

This year we were part of the International Design festival in Prague, where we presented my very first Ruckl collection Heroine as well as the new collection of candles and candle holders called AMOR FATI.

Location: Konsepti Prague

Cooperation with Ton for Designblok 2023. Putting their new La Zitta chair into new context.

The HERO.INE collection is a confident demonstration of the possibilities of working with traditional cut crystal in a modern way, but with reference to its historical heritage. The collection reflects her interest in exploring her own visual language within the Rückl brand, where she builds on previous collections, as well as in cut glass technique and technology, which has remained virtually unchanged over the last few centuries. She focuses on haptics, the contrasts between fine detail and brutal oversized cut, matte and polished surfaces and the fragility and strength of glass.

On the occasion of the presentation of the new HERO-INE collection by Kateřina Handlová, we decided to support the Czech non-profit organization Loono. The founder is Kateřina Šédová, who became the face of the HERO-INE collection. We were drawn to her strong story, untamed courage and passion for what she does. She perfectly fits the definition of contemporary heroines. For every COCO Heroine amber vase sold, we donate 10% of the sale price, excluding VAT, to support the non-profit organization Loono. The non-profit organization Loono is made up of a team of young doctors, medics and other professionals who spread awareness about cancer, cardiovascular and mental illness prevention.

Rückl donated a special vase designed by art director Kateřina Handlova to a 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, which was a part of the 𝐒𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐮𝐩&𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 golf tournament. Tournament was organized for its customers by USSPA, s.r.o., a Czech manufacturer of luxury whirlpools and swim spas.
The charity auction collected an incredible CZK 824,400, a hand-blown Rückl vase was auctioned for CZK 165,000.
This amount will be donated to the home hospice of the Regional Charity in Ústí nad Orlicí, whose services are invaluable help for clients who are at the end of their life journey and for whom the hospice provides support and ensures a dignified demise from this world.

Unique crystal trophies in the form of an original vases were designed by our art director Kateřina Handlová for the winners of a golf tournament organised by Oaks Prague, a premium residential development, and the golf course PGA National Czech Republic.

“Mind Reflection” lighting sculpture for Kolektiv Ateliers
Switzerland as the country of the famous lakes that reflect the beautiful nature, the country of famous philosophers that talk about the reflections of subconsciousness and people´s mind, the country of famous Roscharch tests and psychology.
The installation works with the phenomen of Roscharch tests as well as with the magic how the music activates different centers in our brain.
When the music enters our brains, the triggering of pleasure centers release dopamine, a neurotransmitter that make us feel happy and activate different parts depending on the genre or how we actually like the song...the picture of the brain activity is constantly changing, as well as the installation would change it colors and overall look.
